If you require a new concrete floor on your extension, conservatory, existing property or to an entire new house then this can service be provided by Crest plastering.
With years of experience we can assure a solid, level floor is produced every time.
Floor screed minimum depth is recommended at 50mm upwards. The thicker the screed, the less chance of cracking. Floor screeds require more time to dry compared to other aspects of plastering, with the guidelines being 1mm per day.
The process of ‘curing’ is encouraged to minimise the chances of cracking. Curing is the process of wetting the floor screed, after completion, every day to stop the screed from drying too quickly. After wetting, it should be covered with a plastic cover.
Here at Crest plastering we cover all sizes of floor screeds, from porches to residential new builds and commercial property. No job is too small.
